"Espresso" comes from the Italian word that means "pressed-out". Espresso is coffee prepared using a pressurized brewing process to create a more concentrated drink. Because it's so concentrated, it has a more dense proportion of caffeine than other drinks.
MCCC roasts it's own espresso. Our rich espresso blend has notes of cocoa, sweetness, and toffee.

A traditional Macchiato (Italian translation: "Marked") is espresso "marked" with foamed milk.
Our Macchiato is a double shot of our fresh, in house roasted epsresso "marked" with a small amount of foamed milk on top, served as a traditional 3 oz drink.

Cortado comes from the Spanish word cortar, which means "to cut." The steamed milk "cuts" the espresso, to reduce the acidity and intensity of the drink.
Our Cortado is a 2 oz shot of our in house roasted espresso, "cut" with 2 oz steamed milk.

Named after the Capuchin friars of Italy because the color of the espresso mixed with frothed milk was similar to the color of the Capuchin robe.
The drink consists of equal ratios of espresso, steamed milk and frothed milk. Hence, the traditional 6 oz size: 1/3 espresso, 1/3 steamed milk and 1/3 frothed milk . Cappuccinos typically have no flavored syrup or sweetener.
Our traditional style Cappuccino is 2 oz of our in house roasted espresso with a total of 4 oz steamed and frothed milk.

Depending on the size, our Latte consists of 2-3 oz of our in house roasted espresso and steamed milk. With a large selection of syrups, we can create your custom drink.
